Go Tiny - Practice Making Improv Skills Stick (Better)

THE VIDEO: presented at the Applied Improvisation Network (AIN) 2019 World Conference (more about the presentation over here)

In this first-of-its-kind approach, Shirley brings together behavior design and applied improv. She understands how habit formation (one method in behavior design) and applied improv share a similar context - environment, interactions, choice. This is an innovative approach to transform applied improv learnings into easy, personalized daily habits that, with systematic consistent practice, can help build and sustain an improv habits mindset.

It all started IN 2011 WHEN …

I began my improv training and learned about 3 tiny habits (which has evolved into Tiny Habits®)

AND …

I completed BJ Fogg’s Behavior Design Boot Camp in 2012

then …

I began applying improv in the workspace with the context of behavior design

AND BECAUSE OF THAT …

I have continued to learn, seek, practice, teach, collaborate, and share about how applied improv, behavior design, and their pairing can create meaningful shifts in personal and professional development.
